(Legacy feature) Publishing as other formats using the Brava viewer
IMPORTANT: This document describes an optional FileHold feature that is no longer available. It is retained for existing users only. See the FileHold Viewer for the latest viewing technology. A replacement for this feature is available in Assemble.
If assigned a Brava viewer license, you can publish any currently opened file to a variety of file formats. Publishing options are available with each output type. Files can be published as:
-
PDF — Publish the currently viewed file (with or without open markups) to PDF format. (Note that CSF files that have had Visual Rights set cannot be republished to PDF.)
-
TIFF — Publish the currently viewed file (with or without markups) as a raster file in TIFF (monochrome or color) format. Note that CSF files that have had Visual Rights set cannot be republished to TIFF.
-
DWF — DWF files retains vector or raster status (with or without markups) and can be opened in AutoCAD. Note that CSF files that have had Visual Rights set cannot be republished to DWF.
-
CSF — CSF (Content Sealed Format) is a neutral 2D format that is a replica of the source file, including images, graphics, layout, and more. Markup layers can be optionally burned into the published CSF file.
Documents can be published as a new document or a new version in thedocument management system or to the user’s local machine.
The Publish As feature can be disabled/enabled when configuring the document viewer.
