Automatic watermarks

When a watermark has been configured on a document schema, it will be automatically visible whenever it is viewed by the level 2 or higher FileHold viewer.

It is possible to assign a document schema to a file format that is not supported by the viewer. In this case, there will be no way to see the watermark. Similarily, downloading a document directly from FileHold will not add the watermark. If your quality management policy require any copies of the document to contain the watermark, make sure to disable downloading and similar permissions for users that will access these documents in a controlled way.

If the user has permission to print or make a local copy of the document from the viewer, the watermark will be on the local or printed copy.
