Email notification export script

The Email Notification Export Script DLL provides the basis for creating export scripts that can send arbitrary email notifications at the end of a workflow activity. This is ideal for situations where you would like to email a recipient that is not a participant in the workflow, or not even a user of FileHold. The subject and body of the email can contain arbitrary content such as metadata and system values or images. 

Typical use cases for an export script created with this DLL are to send notifications for updates to standard operating procedures, policies, pricing, etc. to employees, customers, vendors, etc. who are not participants in the workflow. The email can contain links to documents inside FileHold. When the email recipients are not FileHold users, these links can point to documents in the anonymous portal.

The content of the email is configured using hybrid SQL which requires some expertise with SQL. The FileHold professional services team is available to deploy the DLL and configure your desired email content where needed. Self-hosted customers can deploy the DLL on their own and FileHold Cloud customers will need the assistance of FileHold.
