FileHold viewers – Comments

Comments are available in the levels 2 and 3 viewers. The comment feature allows users to comment on specific text or areas on a page. Comments can be viewed in the viewer comments pane Comments pane icon.

The author of the comment is automatically set to the user’s name. Comments can be directed to other users using the @ symbol. Once the annotations are saved, email notifications are sent to the users that have been mentioned in the comments. Emails are sent according the user preferences. The link in the email directs the user to the comment in the document.

Comments can be sorted by page, author or date. They can also be expanded or collapsed in the pane.
