The page covers the hardware and software requirements for the FileHold server for both FileHold Express and FileHold Enterprise. The FileHold server stores and manages documents on behalf of the company. Users access documents stored on the FileHold server via one of 3 possible FileHold clients including the FileHold web client, the FileHold Desktop Application and Microsoft Office 2003 Applications (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Visio). The following software is required to run FileHold Express or Enterprise in a production environment

Don't have a SQL Server License? Considering FileHold Express- FileHold Express
uses the FREE version of Microsoft SQL server
(Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express Edition). Considering FileHold Enterprise - As Microsoft
Gold Partners we are able to embed a runtime version of SQL 2005
standard edition with FileHold at a much lower cost then buying

The following hardware is required to run FileHold Express or Enterprise in a production environment
Minimum

Dedicated Server
|
A dedicated server is required to run FileHold Server.
|
| Processor
|
Xeon or Pentium 4 (or AMD equivalent) or newer processor
|
Server Memory
|
2 GB server memory minimum. We recommend between 3 and 4 GB of server memory if the database is running on the same server as FileHold application.
|
Hard Disk
|
10 GB minimum for the recommended installation and storage
of files managed by the FileHold server. More space may be required
depending on the number and size of documents to be managed by
FileHold.
