Bronze level is the purchased for implementations where the customer has relatively strong IT support. This is for customers who want to be self sufficient in their implementation and purchase only the technical support needed to install and get started.
The bronze package expects the customer to use the FileHold training materials and video tours to gain a detailed understanding of the software. Bronze level assumes a "train the trainer" approach for internal deployment. The package consists of:
- Server Preparation: The customer prepares the server by following an easy to follow but detailed server preparation guide provided by FileHold.
- FileHold Software Installation: When the server is ready the document management software is remotely installed, tested and basic configuration is done - 2 hours. This session will include a meeting to discuss the training plan purchased and set priorities.
- Training on IT and Library Administration including user rights configuration, document schemas and metadata structuring - 2 hours
- Follow up training session on file structure "best practices" in document management (how to set up and configure your library) - 2 hours
- Introduction to document scanning and imaging - an overview of the included scanning software with assistance in basic set up - 2 hours
Silver Level Implementation Package:
The Silver implementation package is four most popular package for customers who want extra assistance in all aspects of their implementation but especially in advanced document scanning and imaging. This package expects the customer to review the FileHold training materials and video tours and assumes a "train the trainer" approach for internal deployment. The package consists of:
- Server Analyses: FileHold will conduct a pre-server preparation inspection to provide analyses and guidance on preparing the server for FileHold - 1 hour.
- Server Preparation: FileHold will support the customer in installing the needed Microsoft components in preparation for the FileHold install - 1 hour.
- FileHold Software Installation: When the server is ready the document management software is remotely installed, tested and basic configuration is done - 2 hours. This session will include a meeting to discuss the training plan purchased and set priorities.
- Training on IT and Library Administration including user rights configuration, document schemas and metadata structuring - 2 hours.
- Initial training session on "best practices" and file structure "best practices" in document management (how to set up and configure your library). - 2 hours.

FileHold document management software is so easy to install and configure that a "fixed fee" remote installation program that has been quoted by your sale consultant is guaranteed by FileHold and included in every price quotation.
Server Preparation - The installation support process starts with a FileHold engineer providing a detailed server preparation guide and walking your IT advisor through the Microsoft server configurations process.
FileHold Install - Once the Microsoft components are installed the FileHold engineer will give access to a FTP site that contains the FileHold software for download. Once ready the engineer will actually take remote control of your server and complete the installation.
Testing - Once install is complete the FileHold engineer will issue the software license key and run a thorough testing of components such as version control and workflow.
Training - Included with the purchase of the document management software licensing are training, consulting and support services that ensure the best use of FileHold software. Our consultants provide "best practices" advice based on years of experience on how to configure your users and Document Management processes and workflow for your industry. The following training is included with the document management software purchase;
Phase 1 - This training is for FileHold System and Library Administrators and includes:
- Administrator Training - The general management of user accounts, access permissions and general server settings.
- Library Administration - The FileHold trainer, with the customer, will examine and review the typical documents to be stored in the system. The trainer will than work with the customer to establish best practices when managing the document library. This include, defining a controlled metadata vocabulary for document classification and how to streamline importation of legacy documents.
Phase 2 - This, follow up training, provides further assistance for the administration of the document management software covering in more detail the topics from the first training session and answering any questions that may have arisen since then.
