FileHold Software Licensing Overview

FileHold Document Management Software organizes electronic and paper documents and records in a compliant way.  FileHold software allows companies embrace the  “ Paperless Office” by streamlining document scanning / imaging processes and empowering users to work with, share and store electronic documents

There are two versions of FileHold Document Management Software:

1. FileHold “Express” * for up to 10 users – Priced at $3,795.00 for 5 users including document scanning software.  Download the FileHold Express Datasheet

2. FileHold “Enterprise” ** - Based on a Service Oriented Architecture that can scale infinitely and support an unlimited numbers of users

FileHold Document Management Software Includes:

• Scanning software that has been tested with over 300 document scanners and the “FileScan Bridge” to connect FileHold software to your scanner.

• A Web Browser to allow you to access your documents from anywhere in the world.

• Integration with Microsoft Office to streamline additions of documents from Word, Excel and PowerPoint to the library.

• Full Text Search capabilities to quickly find any document anytime.

• Document and image viewers to allow mark up and annotations to documents that are not supported by your existing computer software - “redaction” to block out sensitive information.

• Document Approval and Workflow, for secure compliant records management policies.

Both versions of FileHold have many more Standard Features and Optional Modules.

FileHold provides a “Fixed Fee Installation Guarantee”: the FileHold document management server software is typically installed and configured in 1 to 2 hours.  The technical installation is followed by remote installation assistance and 2 training sessions on “best practices” in document management (how to set up and configure your library.   Additional training and configuration assistance may be purchased from FileHold.

Customers with Microsoft server configuration skills can install FileHold on their own by following the detailed Server Preparation guides and Installation guides provided by FileHold.

Customers who wish to implement complex batch scanning and auto filing processes may do so by using the FileHold training videos and documentation. FileHold can provide billable assistance on scanning configuration as required.

* FileHold Express can use the free version of Microsoft SQL server (Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express Edition) and requires Windows server 2003 installed on the same server. FileHold Express running on Microsoft SQL Express has been tested for up to 200,000 documents (millions of pages)
 
* * FileHold Enterprise requires its own hardware server as well Microsoft Windows Server 2003 and SQL server 2000 or 2005. For more on the technology requirement go to FileHold Server Requirements section of this web site. For ultimate robustness and scalability SQL 2005 can be embedded into the FileHold application at a lower cost than buying it as a separate component.
