Mobile Document Management
The mobile workforce is required to be able to access information from anywhere they have access to the internet. Weather it is sales people filling out expense forms from their hotel rooms or workers collecting inspection information it is essential to do it while in the field. The document management software supports this with ever improving connectivity to head office via the web.
The document and records management, workflow and e-forms software supports 4 different browsers including Safari which is used on Apple products. Users can access FileHold from any mobile device via those browsers. The use of mobile devices has been tested on a variety of devices and all work well, continued testing is going on as new devicesa come to the marketplace.
Constant improvement is the norm at FileHold. The company is working on even more improvements to provide specific interfaces for mobile devices that will have less functionality than the normal desktop or web client and a simpler interface for the small screens found on mobile devices. Input and design needs are currently being sought from some of our prospects and customers and plans are in place to release this simpler interface later in the year.
