How do I access FileHold using a MS Office Application?

Library From?
FileHold support access to documents in the library using Word,
Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint or Visio applications in Office 2003 service
pack 2.
How do I access FileHold from my Office Applications?
The FileHold Desktop Application must be installed, running and logged
onto the FileHold in order for the FileHold Office Toolbar icons or Menus
options to be active.
Under the File Menu the FileHold menu options will allow you to access
documents in the FileHold library from your favorite Office applications.
By default both Add Document, Check In Document and Send Review / Approval
Feedback actions use the file that is active.

How can I access FileHold from the Office Toolbar?
The FileHold Desktop Application must be installed, running
and logged onto the FileHold in order for the FileHold Office Toolbar
icons or Menus options to be active.
When you open any of the supported Office applications The toolbar icons
for accessing FileHold are highlighted below. Users can choose to display
or hide the toolbar from the View > Toolbars > FileHold
menu option from within any supported Office application. The toolbar
buttons from left to right are browse FileHold, Add a document to FileHold,
Check a document into FileHold and Send Review / Approval Feedback actions.
What document actions can I perform when accessing the FileHold Library
from Microsoft Office Applications?
From the browse FileHold option within Office applications users can get
a copy of documents or check them out of the library. Users can also Add
or check documents back into the FileHold library from Office applications.
The following is an example of the browse FileHold dialogue box that appears.
Notice that the library tree looks and performs the same as it does in
the web or desktop applications. Users can also see the metadata associated
with the file in the blue bar section at the bottom. The options available
when browsing the library include getting a copy of a document or checking
it out of the library. Notice that there is an additional option to automatically
open the document after download is complete.
