How Do I Change the Server SMTP Settings?FileHold requires access to your organizations SMTP server; which is part of an Email server. FileHold uses the SMTP port / service to relay messages. For example – FileHold provides for the ability for users to subscribe to files or folders. Users are then notified when other users update existing files or add files to a folder. Note: SMTP ports are generally assigned to port 25 and these fields are examples ONLY. Please check with your email server, internal firewall and system administrator(s) for more details. The SMTP settings can be found on the Environment and Mail settings form accessible from the System Admin > Global Settings > General menu option. Users have the ability to personalize their own user experience
and choose from a variety of options to select how often they want to
be notified. Please see the user notification preferences article on this
topic.
