How Do I Reset the System
Administrator Account?
It is a very rare situation where you would have to reset
the system administrator account. This would most likely occur under the
following situation;
- You are using a demo system and only have 1 user license configured
and this system administrator user is locked out
- You only have 1 system administrator account for the entire system
of users and this account is locked out due to trying passwords unsuccessfully
5 times (configurable) which causes the account to be locked out
It is important to always have one backup administrator
account with a backup administrator who is safeguarding that account.
If you have more than one system administrator account / user you can
simply logon to System Administration within FileHold and reset the locked
out FileHold Managed User users password OR force the account password
setup within your network’s Microsoft Active Directory administration
system on the Active Directory Server.
