Searching Using Document Profiles

If you select to search based on a Document Profile other then the default Profile i.e. General, the Document Profile Specific fields will be displayed on the search forms. This allows you to search based on profile information saved with the document.

Example:   Sally wants to retrieve a list of all Credit Memos, Purchase Orders, and Invoices for ABC Company. She knows that all of these documents have the same corresponding document profile of Accounting. The Accounting profile has a Company field defined.
Sally clicks on the Search command found on the Toolbar to open the Find Document form. She selects to search by the Document profile Accounting. This refreshes the screen and displays all the fields found in the Accounting profile. Next Sally types in ABC Company in the Company field and clicks the Search button. A list of all Credit Memos, Purchase Orders, and Invoices for ABC Company appears in the lower Content frame.
