Previous Document Version History and Usage


Viewing a Previous Version of a Document

The Document History displays a list of the different versions of the document and allows you to open previous versions of the document.

  1. In the Documents Content frame, click the relevant document link.
  2. In the bottom frame click the History button. This displays a list of the different document versions. You can change the order of the list by clicking the field header you want to sort by.
  3. To open a document, click the link of the document version.

View Document History and Usage

  1. To view a documents' history, follow the above steps for Viewing a Pervious Version of a Document.
  2. To Delete a Documents' History, click the Delete History button. This will remove all versions of the document except for the most recent.
  3. To view a Documents' Usage, click the Usage button. If you are the author of the document or have administrative privileges, the Usage button appears on the History page. The Usage page displays checkout and update information since the document was initially added to Documents. You can change the order of the list by clicking the field header you want to sort by.
  4. The Show Usage to Users field, allows you to specify whether other users can view your usage of the document.

Note:  Only Administrators can delete a documents' history. The Delete History button is disabled for all other users. Similarly, only Administrators can delete documents' usage records. The Delete Usage button is disabled for all other users.
