FileHold Systems has an unwavering commitment to the needs of our clients. Our work is all about the creation of software that provides ever increasing value to our customers. We achieve this by having a commitment to constant product improvement, and boundless innovation. Beyond our customers we focus on the development of our employees and being a responsible corporate citizen in our community.

1) Our size and our expertise - Nimble and Knowledgeable.

We are a small owner operated company. We treat every customer as a valued asset and we respond in a personal and agile way to satisfy both standard and unique customer requirements. Our employee competencies are unsurpassed and range from our CTO, Dr Jacek Lipowski who has more than 30 years of experience in formal software development to our VP of Customer Service, Cameron Siguenza, who has 15+ years of hands on experience in the document management domain.

2) Our user-centric approach - Software for "real world" customer needs.

FileHold provides a solution that is easy to install, configure, administer and support. FileHold '08 is configured and deployed in hours not weeks and integrates seamlessly into a customers environment.

FileHold believes the user should be in control. We provide the means for the corporate librarian to centrally control the document vocabulary or metadata (data about data). This ensures standardized document naming conventions and search parameters allowing a company to rally around a simple common language for describing the content contained within their library.

FileHold '08 delivers essential, document, record and workflow management features including; version control, disposition management, multi-tiered file-level authorization control, rules based subscription and notifications engine, document workflow, and document-to-document relationship management. This functionality seamlessly integrates into the user's application environment including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

3) Our Ideas - Looking forward all of the time.

FileHold was one of only 300 global software companies selected to participate in Microsoft's elite Windows Server "Longhorn" Ascend Program. Our product manager, Ian Booth scours the technology world for innovation in knowledge classification and search mechanisms.
Our current work in progress includes:

• New library search and discovery systems that allow users to more easily browse for documents using the metadata they have associated with the files instead of a static file folder structure.
  
  
• More efficient ways to manually or automatically apply metadata to documents that are stored in the library according to the controlled vocabulary managed by the librarian.
